Primary Schools

It is government policy that by 2010 every child in key stage 2 should have an entitlement to learn a language other than English.

An increasing number of schools already provide some MFL teaching at key stage 2, and provision is expected to grow, both across schools and across the four years of key stage 2.

However, many schools still lack the skills and resources to provide children with access to high quality teaching and learning opportunities in modern foreign languages.

As a fully qualified teacher of mfl, I can help your school to develop its languages offer by delivering meaningful, progressive and enjoyable lessons at KS2. in either Spanish or French

All lessons will be underpinned by the KS2 Framework for Modern Foreign Languages as well as the relevant QCA Schemes of Work

In addition, I can help school staff to develop their own mfl skills and assist them in the development of resources which could be used in cross curricular activities aimed at enriching their pupils' learning.

If you are interested in my services, please do not hesitate to contact me; I would be more than happy to call into your school for a chat. If required, I could also deliver a trial lesson at your school free of charge.
